Copper Mould (Centrifugal Mould)
Quick Information
• Place of Origin: Korea
Description
1. Overview of continuous casting A casting method in which molten steel is continuously injected into a water-cooled mould of a certain shape and the solidified steel pieces are continuously withdrawn from the bottom of the mould to obtain billets, blooms, slabs, etc., and is a continuous process of iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), and copper (Cu). It is typically used in casting.
2. Features of our continuous casting mould The continuous casting mould is a key part of the continuous casting process and has an absolute influence on the surface roughness, cooling, and solidification of the continuous casting product, so it is the most important factor in selecting mould material and shape design. Our continuous casting mould improves the lifespan and productivity by improving the existing material by adding additional alloy during melting. In particular, we succeeded in localizing the slab mould for integrated steel mills through our technology development and applied it to POSCO, making it more competitive than foreign products. Recognized for its unit price and high quality.
